1. Customize your own portal according to the way you work

Customize your portal with the functions and pieces of information that are most important to you. Just drag and drop the widgets to your portal Status page.

2. Monitor your backup system 24/7

Define a wide variety of alerts according to the backup policies of your company.

Notification is sent via email, SMS or to the Windows Event log for further processing by other management systems, such as Tivoli Enterprise Console, MOM and BMC Patrol.

3. Document storage growth

View or print out flash-based historic data presented in graphs and tables throughout the system. 

Apart from storage growth, you can also see visual representations of amounts of reclaimable space in terms of time, backup performance, tape drive utilization and much more.

There are filters for selecting dates, data types, TSM domains, TSM servers, storage pools and so on.

4. Locate valuable storage space

Use reports and alerts that help to discover reusable storage resources. Often valuable storage is used for backup data from old servers and renamed drives. Virtualization projects in particular result in irrelevant data in the backup system.

In most cases, the original data has already been copied to new servers and is being backed up from there. The amount of reclaimable storage can be significant.
