WSP Lite for TSM

WSP Lite for TSM provides a free, simplified version of Wizards Storage Portal for one user and up to two TSM servers for an unlimited time period, but is similar to the enterprise version of Wizards Storage Portal in several ways:

• User- friendly dashboard includes drag and drop widgets and collaboration tools
• Monitor your backup system 24/7 with current and historical data
• Document storage growth by viewing html5 or flash-based historic data presented in charts and tables
• Use in conjunction with WSP Mobile and monitor your chosen servers from your iPhone or iPad.

The main differences between the WSP Lite and the enterprise version of WSP are that the historical data is limited to 14 days rather than two years, the number of monitoring agents and configurable widgets is five rather than being unlimited and real time data collection is every hour instead of every 10 minutes.

The full enterprise version can be used by an unlimited number of users but also has added functionality such as scheduled reports, 24 hour activity Gantt diagrams, configurable alerts sent out automatically by SMS or email, special features such as Heat Maps and is also available for Storwize and SVC environments.

However, with WSP Lite for TSM, you still benefit from the simplicity of configuring the status page to the information you want to see on one screen; how to select different widgets, review occupancy, event history and monitoring reports for overall activity and then drill down to node level for precise details.
